Roy has over 40 years of experience as a psychologist and counselor for men and their families. He founded Pennsylvania Counseling Services, which operates in 11 counties in South Central Pennsylvania. An ordained minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance, Roy is also the founder of Servant’s Oasis, a non-profit that has been supporting servant leaders for over 30 years.
Roy created LiveUp Resources, producing books and videos to guide individuals toward their God-given potential. He has authored over 25 books on men’s issues and mentorship, 13 video series, and authored a 13-volume series for children called The Campfire Gang, teaching biblical leadership and character skills. Roy holds a Master of Divinity, and master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology.
Dean serves as the Development Director for The Marriage Hub, working to expand its ministry and help couples in crisis find renewal through God’s word, Spirit, and community. He leads efforts to support alumni couples, raise scholarship funds, and establish new hubs nationwide. He is the author of The Soth Initiative , and The Soth Initiative: Book 2: Fallout.
Melissa holds a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and is a licensed professional counselor in Georgia. A certified sexual addiction and betrayal recovery therapist, she helps couples heal their marriages. She serves as a spouse-supporting therapist at HopeQuest Ministry Group’s residential program and counsels at FBC Woodstock.
Nate earned a B.A. in Religious Studies and a master’s from Princeton Theological Seminary. After leaving ministry due to pornography addiction, he found recovery through a 12-step group and founded the Samson Society in 2004. Now with over 250 groups nationwide, the society helps men pursue authentic brotherhood. He is also the author of Samson and the Pirate Monks.
Carl Sever is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Consultation Leader with Pennsylvania Counseling Services, and LiveUp Counseling. He specializes in treating addiction and codependency, integrating his personal experience in recovery with clinical expertise. Carl is passionate about guiding individuals and families toward healing and long-term transformation.
